BEYOĞLU - İSTİKLÂL STREET

İstiklal Street is the busiest street in İstanbul. And, every single day and night, in both summer and winter, on any hour of the day you can always see a flood of both locals and tourists here. It is situated within the district of Beyoğlu, formerly called Pera, which is the center of arts and culture. Also, one the oldest tunnel located at Pera.

Taksim Square is the most known modern city center of İstanbul. Many hotels and restaurants are in or near the Square and on İstiklal Street and there is a local bus terminal for public transportation and the main subway station. The Square is also the meeting place to celebrate New Year's Eve, parades, public concerts and other shows.

CİHANGİR

A "bohemia" with its cafes, where debates take place about theater, cinema, literature, and philosophy. A district where caricaturists, painters and actors live in Istanbul. The streets are vibrant, but you don’t see grumpy people hurrying in a rush and running around trying to reach a place. It looks as if this place is not a five minute walk to Taksim. It is so calm, peaceful and comfortable. And also, one of the best breakfast places of Istanbul is Cihangir.

Cihangir is bigger than itself. It is possible to feel like you’re in Paris.
When you pass by the streets surrounded by low (at most with 5 floors) buildings, which don’t oppress you. You may pet the cats that sleep on top of the cars parked on the shadows of the little trees by the streets, inside the fences by the road, almost everywhere. There is a reality about Cihangir which we just have to mention. Cats !
Cihangir is like a heaven for them. In all colors and all ages, they are everywhere in Cihangir.
